Here we paired up people, categorized them according to what they would eat, use, wear, and drive.

Fatma J, Fatma R, and Abeer, K had printed their catalogue, cut it, and had done the binding too.

we are so proud of the result. We really had fun doing this catalogue =)

we decided upon a grid and each one of us did her design..

so, after that we put them together for printing:

experimenting with grids : 

the idea we had for the grid/spread

is to have in one page the image, persona, and scenatio 

and in the other page a typographic composition that shows or fits the lifestyle.

here, we tried to do some grids, 

but the concept we have is every character, according to color personality, they go together. 

Project 3, Process/a

those are the typefaces i chose for the typeface catalog.

Gill Sans and Nadeem, looks like they suite the student, because they are very flexible and could work in any context and with any design.

Times New Roman and Alkhoury, fits the business people, because they look very structured and serious.

Silom and Shallal, fits the sporty lifestyle, because it looks energetic and dynamic.

Apple Symbols and Al Bayan, fits the simple lifestyle, because they are basically simple.

Poplar Std Black and Barhoom, Fits the funky lifestyle, because it looks funky, playful and fun.

i researched some paper folding to use for my catalog.



i started designing the final catalog,




i made a few changes
my catalog is simple, when it's folded it's like a book you can flip throw. When it unfolds it looks like the upper picture.

another catalogue, a continuation on the 2nd project in addiction of including 

"latin and arabic typefaces that fit the lifestyle". 

then we had a workshop in inDesign ... how to layout pages and so on !

Here are is our process work, we were trying to come up with different lifestyles to work with
then we took pictures of each to document them.

Here is the 1st category we came up with, PERSONALITIES:

What you will see here is the group work we had to do, where we were divided into 4 groups, and my colleagues were Ria m, Abeer, and Roda, and we all had to make up lifestyle categories for all our 400 images, so we decided to each choose 2 categories to work with.
So what here are each of both our categories:

1. Here are Roda's two categories which were shirts, and vegetables.

2. Here are my pictures, i chose dresses and car signs.

3. Here are Riam's pictures, where she chose books, and handbags.
