Comprehensive Sketches (1)

ُThis Sketch demonstrate my initial idea about how to do a calendar for people who are in a diet. 

 

I was thinking of  a calendar that is much like a broacher.  This calendar would be very easy to be taken from one place to another. 

Each section of the broacher would resemble the days of the week ( Days are written in Numbers at the Upper left) . 

the Design that is in the middle abstract shape that would be colored to map the mood changing. 

I think that it would be functional, because people who are in diet would be able to carry their calendar with them and see what they have to do or eat in that particular day.

While sketching I found that if I needed to include all information I will have to do a matrix design (branching information). THAT is the most precise way = (size problem). This, however, can be abstracted...I'm sure there's a way to do that.

I also thought of doing an interactive print piece...but the project has limitations and...production would be expensive as Pornprapha said and I agree.

P1.1 Comprehensive sketches

The system for my calendar based on years. I am going to make twelve years in my calendar starting from the year 2008till the year 2019 and under each year twelve month and these years are going to start with the months January or February according to the Chinese year. I’m going to include the 12 Chinese zodiac animals for each year I am going to divide the Chinese zodiac according to the 5 elements: Water, wood, fire, earth, and metal. And, I’m going to create an abstract symbols for each animal and for each element.
These are some of my first Designs.
