p.2 - Class notes - Project notes (3)







Here was my first trial to see how the catalog looks. I called it the growth cycle. because i wanted it to be about the growth cycle and about the categories that revolved around that. I first chose 4 instead of 5 lifestyles : hippy, pregnant woman, rich and the famous, and spoiled child.
but because I consulted peter about that. and he said it has to be five, so i brought back the teenage girl. but then later on...

I did a little research on the character and meaning of a Poet and this is what I've gathered:


Etymology:
From the ancient Greek : ποιέω, poieō : "I make or compose" ; ποιητης, poïêtes : "artisan, creator, maker (also makar), author, poet" > Latin : poēta : "poet, author" > Old French : (1200-1400) poëte or poète > Used (poet) in 14th. century, in classical English language, for all sorts of writers or composers of works of literature. The term makar, which is another older term for poet, is a claque from the Greek.

Right now we are considering:

1- circumstance: Artifacts in situ.
- their context, and their everyday living


2- motivation
- beliefs
- values
- activities


Persona: thinking of a person without having that actual person.
Beliefs: what is about self, world and relationship between
Values: what is important/ right or wrong. meaningful.
Activities: what is done.
