In class, we had a type workshop. We started off with using only shapes (line, geometric shapes) and black and white. We played with hierarchy, balance, depth, and greyscale. 

After creating those compositions, we replaced text in the black areas only.

It was a fun exercise, it helped a lot with figuring out a layout, and the use of text in a composition

now that i decided the content:

5 life styles= 5 colors

1-RED= Romantic/ strong/ out going/ aggressive.

2- PINK= protection/ secure/ charming/ cute/ gentle.

3- BLUE= sensitive/ self-control/ faithful/ preserving. 

4- BROWN= stamina/ patience/ sustainable/ responsible.

5- BLACK= showy/ mysterious/desire/ professional.

for every category i'll have max of 3 images (fare enough to show the dimension)

i'll concentrate on the outer/external appearance of the person that have the chosen lifestyle.

the name of my Catalogue will be  (_life) "shift life" as in changing life :)

im thinking of having a cubic system as having the layout structured.

TYPE:

as for the type, i want a type that is edged as sharp. maybe a pixel-based typeface or a cubic one. both would work with the theme.
