P2 process work/ class notes PT 3

Project brief
. we have to create our own
. we have to go out and look - observe - were looking at things/objects/ and artifacts that people have
. write our own content and what we are going to do

to dress differently it requires different objects.
other people do different things similarly - or differently

(category - ideas of clothing) make everything photographic images.
all of us need to go find 10 pieces of each category.

DIVERSITY - is very important, in fact CRUCIALLY important.
crop the pictures and show only the clothing item. focus on that mostly.

see whats common and find 10 artifacts of things.
teachers will evaluate the 10 images carefully

compare, and contrast. - research how many people wear them.

. come from a back door
. were not thinking of lifestyles yet

(search for some content)
. start looking at artifacts - tangible objects.
. we are going to study artifacts, by what we are doing now.
. take an inventory
. make it very quantative
. we can embed much information
. typographic forms
. image forms
. how can you choose something based on what you know

what lifestyles represent:
the created context for everyday living.
it is also the way (method) everyday living is done

what?
there is a need to catalogs in this lifestyle
. for categorizing people
. perception of people
. catalog builds an understanding of what something is the way they are
. everyday life is
EXHIBITION GALARIES/ for categories
. document to document everything
. inventory - count the products / take record of everything thats there

Fatma J, P2.1 Process/a

i took pictures around university and at home!
Those are required:
8x8 cm
CMYK
300 dpi 
all images should be cut (imagine the amount of time it took)



i didn't think abroad, my only concern was to fulfill all the 10 categories required. 
but after the Critique and after looking at my classmate's photos, i realized that and knew how can we look into things in different angles and prospectives.
