Dero-Brain storm

okay- calendar, Peter said it's a way to map time, which it is really interesting thing because we need to measure so we could use it in a useful way. I started looking up for many calendars and I found hajri calendar, I found also the ancient Egyptian calendar, which was used for agriculture.
They use the Nile as their calendar depending on the flood. So, their calendar starts on August and they have different names for the months. From that I reached to an idea, I started thinking if m doing this calendar for me what I want it to look like??? Let's see, I want it to be more me,which means to customize it more, make it related to each individual. so, I could get rid of the normal boring grids and the same names of the week and month that everyone knows about. i want to make something more personal, but I thought that it's to general, because m not focusing on just one group of people, and that will make it harder to achieve.
Then I went back to the idea of the Nile and the water, and how people used to know time from nature, which made my idea gives me different and new ideas for the project, and made it more interesting to work on. The idea of knowing time through nature and appreciating time is more important than just measuring it. I thought how people say:"I will meet you in the evening", people don't give specific timing, they just say evening which means from 4 o'clock till 7 for example. So, now people who think about time they don't think about seconds or minutes or may be years, they just enjoy the time and they feel satisfied with it.
I wanted to get inspired more and more to support my idea, so I researched for quotes, to see are there others on this planet think the same way about time.

"Nature's Time is Cubic and perpetual. Linear Time is wrong and suicidal.
"Gene Ray
"I've been on a calendar but I have never been on time."Marilyn Monroe
"They say that time changes things, but you actually have to change them yourself."Andy Warhol
