I had trouble with the bringing out the meaning
in my calendar; and always seemed to focus on
the things to do before you die part when I really
needed to focus on the worth and value of time
you have left.
These are some of the visual experiments I tried
to emphasize on time and counting down.
Here is the idea of joining the dots
so that the user is involved with time
and is conscious of it. And at the same
time he/she unfolds what activity is on
the to-do list for that particular day.
I also thought of time in the context of
life literally and tried to find something
symbolic but not immediately literal. So
I used the pixels of a tree (tree of life)
as a grid for the days & months.
