analyzing existing catalogs

I looked at some online and printed catalogs and analyzed how they format their pages. it seems as though each subject matter has a different concept as to how they are arranged, dependent upon content and viewer.























Here is an online catalog for women's clothing. It separates them into seasons and the items of clothing. You will notice that there is a large image in the center that sort of 'sets the mood'. I can also do this for my catalog i.e. set he scene for each lifestyle.

The only thing I have to do though is to pick one object or scene that defines the whole lifestyle.
